Personalized 1-on-1 mentoring, available in-person and online.
I help landscape photographers better understand their camera, improve their workflow, and shoot with more confidence and consistency.
In-Person 1-on-1 Mentoring
Personalized, hands-on mentoring sessions focused on real-world shooting, field workflow, and creative growth. Each session is thoughtfully tailored to your experience level and goals, whether you are building a strong foundation or refining your technique.
What we can work on:
Camera setup and custom settings
Exposure, metering, and histogram interpretation
Composition and visual storytelling
Working with natural light in real conditions
Field workflow and shooting rhythm

What makes this different:
Instead of following a fixed lesson plan, we work through real scenes, real light, and real challenges in the field. Common Mentoring Scenarios
Here are a few common ways landscape photographers often use 1-on-1 mentoring to improve their landscape photography.
Getting unstuck creatively
You understand the basics, but your images feel inconsistent. We review your work, identify patterns, and develop a clearer approach to composition, light, and field workflow.
Learning your camera more deeply
You have a capable camera, but many settings still feel confusing. We simplify your setup and build confidence in exposure, metering, and shooting decisions.
Improving Lightroom workflow
You struggle to achieve consistent edits. We walk through your editing process and build a repeatable workflow that fits your style.
Preparing for an upcoming trip or workshop
We plan shooting locations, timing, gear choices, and field strategy so you feel prepared and confident before you arrive.
Building confidence in the field
We focus on practical field workflow, planning, and decision making so you feel calmer, more organized, and more intentional while shooting.

1. Reach Out
Start by contacting me through the form below. Let me know a little about your photography, your experience level, and what you would like to work on.
2. Quick Discussion
We will have a brief conversation by email to clarify your goals and determine whether in-person or online mentoring is the best fit.
3. Pre-Session Questionnaire
Before our session, I will send a short questionnaire to help me better understand your background, challenges, and priorities. This allows me to prepare and tailor the session specifically to you.
4. Scheduling
Once we decide on the session format, we will schedule a time that works for both of us. Online sessions are scheduled based on mutual availability, and in-person sessions are coordinated around location, weather, and travel logistics.

Mentoring Rates
Mentoring sessions are available both in person and online. Most photographers begin with a single session, and multi-session mentoring options are available for those who want ongoing guidance and structured improvement. If you are unsure what type of session would be most helpful, I am happy to talk through your goals and recommend a good starting point.

Travel time does not count toward your mentoring time. Additional time can easily be added, and longer sessions, multi-day private workshops, and custom mentoring trips are available. I am happy to travel beyond this range, including out of state, with travel expenses billed separately based on location and logistics.
